A thriller, a love story, an elegy, and a confession, Resort relates the misadventures of Jill Charles and Danny Drake, two actors making a precarious living conning tourists in tropical resorts.

Broke and desperate in Acapulco, Danny agrees to Jill’s scam of an eccentric older English couple that leads them across Mexico to Veracruz.

Along the way, Danny begins to suspect Jill hasn’t told him the truth about the English couple, who may have nefarious designs of their own, or about herself.
